Comments

It states to bring proof of credit union membership identification. I am a member of Vantage but Vantage is not listed on May 1, would I be allowed to participate anyway?

Thank you,

Yes.

Will there be any more shred days planned? I made the one on April 24, but can't make May 1. They are a time saver.

I don't know of any others, but will post the information if I hear of more.

Can bills/statements etc. be in the envelopes they arrived in or do we need to remove the contents so the sheets of paper are loose prior to shredding? Also, are plastic trash bags acceptable for transport or only paper bags & boxes? Thanks for hosting the shred event!

Yes, no need to remove envelopes or staples. Plastic bags are fine too.

Thanks.

Do the documents have to be in a box or will a paper grocery bag still be accepted?
Thanks.

Boxes or bags are fine. As long as we can easily get them from your vehicle into the bins.

Will there be huge company size shredders for members or will there be the standard size home shredders at the bank on saturday 4/24/10

Anonymous,

The shredder that will be there is being brought in by Cintas. It's actually a truck that shreds hundreds of pounds of paper, so it's much bigger than the standard home shredder.

Please do note that we ask members to keep it to a 5 box maximum of items to keep the line moving.

Thank you for your interest!
Kathy
